in the mood for spring

Hello all. Well, Spring is finally here, yay!! I hope you had the opportunity of welcoming in the new season with a great outdoor activity. I, luckily living in sunny San Diego California, spent the better part of the day in Balboa Park with my love, Gabriel, and a delicious picnic. There were a lot of people enjoying the warm weather, and at least three weddings and three quinceañeras/sweet sixteens being celebrated. A perfect day for it.

When spring-time arrives I always look forward to enjoying a delicious Mojito in a frosty, chilled glass while swaying on a hammock and listening to the sultry sounds of Bossa Nova. Not that I have a hammock nor anywhere to hang it from...but I can dream! :)

A perfect Spring day for me always includes listening to Astrud Gilberto. Her sweet and soft voice keeps me calm, and the sounds of Bossa Nova are the essential melodies for relaxing on a cozy hammock as the warm day unwinds and the sun turns a golden hue. This is one of those perfect tunes, enjoy!
