Just in time for Spring Break and Easter Sunday next week, I give you a little glimpse at one of the best Chocolatiers in the US, Vosges Haut-Chocolat.

I first came across Vosges Haut-Chocolat a few years ago as I was looking for {life} inspiration. Of course I was attracted to the delicious chocolate and adorable figures these are shaped into, but, as with any new business/website I encounter, I perused their about page and watched this video of owner Katrina Markoff describing her inspiration and creative process.

I was so inspired by Katrina's explanation and description because I understood what she was saying and where her own inspirations were coming from. I could see the relationship between architecture, art, culture, music, and current events and how the sensations evoked by these could lead to the creation of a delicious chocolate, in her case, or an invitation/stationery suite in mine.

The packaging is so decorative with its Spring-evoking patterns...

...and hat box concept. I'm loving the purple color palette combined with bright hues as well.

Who wouldn't love to receive this towering hat box full of chocolates? Especially such extravagant chocolates filled with the most luscious and exotic ingredients.

It's all an emotional connection, and that's what creation is all about...in any medium.
